Project summary
TLC Hospitality played a key role in the two-year renovation of the historic Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas, originally built in 1886. The project encompassed 175 guestrooms and 79 Tower Rooms, where we provided custom casegoods and marble-and-brass vanities designed to honor the property’s legacy while delivering modern functionality.
Each piece was meticulously crafted with walnut veneers, inlay details, carved elements, and curved glass doors, blending timeless craftsmanship with durability for the hospitality environment. Working alongside ownership groups Woodbine Development and Hyatt, with design by Swoon the Studio and purchasing by Neil Locke & Associates, TLC Hospitality ensured the design vision was executed with precision.
The result was a refresh that seamlessly blends the Driskill’s rich heritage with modern sophistication, reaffirming its place as one of Austin’s most iconic hotels.
